El bosque estaba oscuro, el arroyo sonaba abajo y la baranda seguía firme, áspera en el punto exacto donde años atrás me había cortado el pulgar construyéndola.

Todo seguía allí.

No porque la sangre mande más que la ley, ni porque el amor familiar sea garantía de nada.

Seguía allí porque, a tiempo, entendí una verdad incómoda.

A veces nadie necesita robarte una casa para traicionarte.

Basta con que empiece a hablar de ella como si tú ya estuvieras muerto.
